Planned Giving
Your heartfelt gift will leave a legacy for generations to come. Children should never have to sit in courtrooms and watch mature and harsh proceedings. You can keep children safe and protected.
Leaving a legacy that will benefits for generations to come is easier than you think, and the benefits of this generous choice will reap benefits for children and families throughout their lives.
Ways you can leave a legacy…
A Bequest in Your Will
There is no greater honor you can bestow on a charity than to consider including it in your final planning. If healthy families and children are important to you, talk to a professional about including a specific residuary request in your will. Recommended verbiage is here.
Gifts of Life Insurance
This is one of the easiest ways to leave a legacy. You can name Court Care as a beneficiary for part or all of the proceeds from an existing life insurance policy. You can do this easily by requesting a change-in-beneficiary form from your life insurance company. You can also make an outright gift of a life insurance policy that may have served its purpose. The policy can be donated to Court Care for the Pikes Peak Region. Donors can receive tax advantages while Court Care receives financial support.
Other Ways to Give
There are many other ways for you to consider leaving a legacy. Gifts may include gifts of appreciated stock or other assets, bequests of IRA or other retirement plans, charitable lead and remainder trusts, or gifts of personal property. Including charitable gifts in your final plans helps charities and may reduce costly estate or probate taxes for your family.
