Court Care
- Court Care is located inside the El Paso County Judicial Complex. Licensed childcare is provided for children of individuals who have court-related business in the Pikes Peak Region. Trained staff ensure that children are safe and secure while they are at Court Care.
- Children are protected from from witnessing contentious and emotional court proceedings.
- Children are welcomed to a classroom furnished with toys, games, books, and crafts.
- Parents and caregivers are able to more fully participate in their court business without the potential distraction children can cause.
- Without children present, our courts can be more efficient and effective.
- Services are provided at no charge to families.

About Us:
Who Can Use Court Care
Court Care provides childcare at no charge for anyone who needs to be at the El Paso County Judicial Complex or at the Colorado Springs Municipal Court, including jury duty and probation or parole appointments. Court Care accepts children ages six weeks through 14-years-old.
When is Court Care open?
Court Care is open everyday the El Paso County Judicial Complex is in session, from 7:45 AM – 12:15 PM and 1:15 PM –5:00 PM. Plan to arrive at Court Care 30 minutes before your court appointment to register your child(ren).
Do I need to make an appointment?
Court Care services are available on a first come, first served basis. Jurors may make a reservation by calling 719-452-5499. You will be asked to provide immunization records.
What should I bring?
Court Care provides everything needed for childcare. For younger children, please bring a diaper bag with bottles, formula, or breast milk, baby food, diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes. Healthy snacks will be provided. Please do not pack any peanut products. Court Care is a peanut-free facility.
